DFE Stainless Steel Intermediate Bulk Containers
For transport of Bulk hazardous and non-hazardous
liquids. Drilling Fluid Equipment NZ Ltd (DFE) offer
the Stainless Steel IBC as a convenient safe method
of transporting liquids to point of use.
The IBC eliminates the requirements of shipping, transport
and disposal of 200 ltr (55 US Gal) drums, and is directed
at industries with high consumption of liquid products.
The IBC is filled at the point of product manufacture
or bulk storage and transported to the end use site,
no additional decanting is required.
A 50mm (2") Camlock fitting outlet allows the product
to be decanted to the end use without requiring drum
pumpsor drum handling equipment.

| The IBC is designed and approved for 1500 litres (400
US Gals) of fluid up to 1.5 SG (12.5 pounds per gal),
and can be stacked two high while filled.
It meets UN Tank code 31A, and UN Packaging Groups
Class II and III (further UN codes are pending).
The IBC is ideally suited to the transport and use
of fluids when minimal contact by personnel is required,
or when floor area is restricted.

|
As an example, the IBC's are currently being used to supply
bulk drilling mud additives in Bass Strait, Australia. They
are transported as open deck cargo to the drilling platform,
and stacked two high near the end use point. The product is
pumped from the IBC's directly into the drilling mud storage
area, no direct product contact by personnel is necessary.
Empty IBC's are back loaded for reuse.
